Calculation basis: Each suspended pipe is calculated as water-filled. FireCalc looks up the NFPA 13 – 2019 table modulus for each supported pipe, sums those values, and recommends pipe and angle-iron trapeze members whose table modulus meets or exceeds the sum.

NFPA 13 – 2019 is currently the table-backed rule set in this calculator.

Only horizontal trapeze supports are included. Supported sprinkler pipes are shown suspended below the trapeze member.
